Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Puppies Direct 2U. We are committed to providing healthy, well-socialized puppies to loving homes. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the responsibilities of both our business and our customers to ensure transparency and mutual trust. By accessing our website or purchasing a puppy from us, you accept and agree to the following Terms.

1. Purchase Agreement

Each purchase from Puppies Direct 2U represents a binding contract. By finalizing payment, you agree to:

  • Assume full responsibility for the care and wellbeing of the puppy.
  • Adhere to local pet ownership laws and regulations.
  • Understand that your puppy is a living animal and not a product with a set of fixed traits or guarantees beyond what is stated here.

2. Puppy Health Standards

All puppies sold by Puppies Direct 2U:

  • Are examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to delivery.
  • Receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.
  • Come with a valid health certificate where applicable.

2.1. Mandatory Initial Vet Visit

Buyers must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 2 weeks of receipt. This visit confirms the puppy’s health and activates any other applicable health guarantees, as well as informs the owner of future vaccination schedule, and confirms whether or not any deworming may be necessary. Buyers must take their puppy to the vet sooner if they believe there are any issues.  Failure to do so will void all warranties.

3. Health Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our puppies with the following limited health coverage:

One-Year Genetic Warranty

We provide a one-year warranty against fatal congenital or hereditary disorders. This covers:

  • Severe heart defects
  • Liver shunt
  • Kidney dysfunction
  • Other life-inhibiting congenital conditions, as diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and confirmed by our veterinary advisor

Note: Minor, treatable, or temporary conditions (such as worms, ear mites, diarrhea, parasites, colds or minor infections) are not covered.

4. Puppy Temperament & Behavior

Puppies are animals with developing personalities. While we make every effort to socialize our puppies, we cannot guarantee temperament, trainability, compatibility with other pets, or future adult behavior. Puppies need to be trained accordingly and raised correctly to succeed, and this training helps mold their personality as they grow with their new families. Please contact us for training tips and guidance if needed. 

5. Spay/Neuter Policy

Puppies sold are intended as companion pets and NOT for breeding. If your puppy is not already spayed or neutered, you should speak to your vet for more information about having the procedure completed when age appropriate.  A spayed or neutered pet is a healthy pet and helps prevent certain health and behavioral issues, as well as contributes to a better life for your new companion. 

6. Payment Terms

All payments are due in full before the puppy is released. We accept the following methods:

  • Major credit/debit cards
  • In some cases, financing through third-party providers
  • Cash

All sales are final. Refunds will only be issued under circumstances explicitly stated in this policy.

7. Pick-Up & Delivery

We offer:

  • In-person pick-up at a designated location
  • Local delivery within a set radius
  • Nationwide ground/air transport via approved pet transporters

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party transporters, weather, or airline restrictions. Risk of loss or injury transfers to the buyer upon possession or delivery.

8. Buyer Responsibility

By purchasing a puppy, the buyer agrees to:

  • Provide a safe and loving home.
  • Ensure the puppy receives routine veterinary care, vaccinations, and proper nutrition.
  • Avoid mistreatment, neglect, or abandonment.

9. Rehoming & Returns

A puppy is a commitment for their lifetime, and we strongly recommend that utmost care and consideration be taken when making the decision to bring a living, breathing, and feeling creature into your home and family.

If a situation arises in which a buyer cannot keep their puppy, we will do our best to attempt to assist with support services and/or rehoming where possible, but do not allow for buybacks or refunds unless under explicit, pre-approved conditions as outlined above. We reserve the right to reclaim a puppy without refund if evidence of neglect, abuse, or violation of this agreement is found.

10. Limitation of Liability

Puppies Direct 2U is not liable for:

  • Any injury, damage, or loss caused by the puppy after delivery.
  • Behavioral issues or medical conditions not covered by our warranty.
  • Costs beyond the original purchase price, including emotional damages.

Our liability, under any circumstance, shall not exceed the amount paid for the puppy.

11. Privacy & Security

We value your privacy and only collect personal data necessary to process your order and comply with regulations. We do not sell or share your data with third parties outside of what is required to complete your transaction (e.g., financing or shipping providers). 12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, we strongly encourage informal resolution. If necessary, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the state of Florida, under the laws of that jurisdiction.
